Everyone who is a long-time fan of Martin Freeman and is enjoying Fargo should pause to appreciate the wonderful moment we are experiencing. We had an 18 month wait between seasons 1 and 2 of Sherlock, and then a two year wait between seasons 2 and 3. The current hiatus will likely last at least two years. From the start of filming of the The Hobbit to An Unexpected Journey was about 20 months, then another 12 months to The Desolation of Smaug, and we are now in the year-long wait for There and Back Again. We are used to waiting. But now we have Fargo. From the start of filming to the premiere episode was about 6 months! Ten episodes airing once a week, at an hour+ per episode. If the next 9 are anything like the first one then we are being treated to a mini-series of epic quality with Martin Freeman playing one of the central characters. We will probably never experience such halcyon days as this again. So cherish this time.
MP3 version of Martin saying “Heck, Ah Heck.” for those (like me) who want it as a text alert. ;-)
